Administrative Staff

Shelley Boender

Administrator

Shelley has been with the Center for Possibilities as our administrator for 13 years.  Shelley learned about our program while she was looking for someone to provide services for her oldest son, AJ, who has Cerebral Palsy.  Shelley is the mother of 4 and grandmother of 3, with another on the way.  Shelley and her husband raise goats and chickens, ride motorcycles and love being grandparents.

Cherish Edwards

Executive Director

Cherish joined the Center for Possibilities staff in March of 2019.  Cherish has a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Organizational Development.  Cherish is a wife and  the mom of two teen girls.  Cherish and her daughters love to crochet and spoil their dog, Chase.

Support Staff

Lisa Hottle

Cook

Lisa has been with Center for Possibilities for 10 years this November.  She started out as the director of the children's programs, later transitioning to the cook when the position became available.  She has a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.  Lisa has two grown children.  She is also surprisingly handy with maintenance tasks around her house.

Christi Lozano

Toddler Lead Teacher

Christi has been a part of the Center for Possibilities team since the end of 2015.  Christi is pursing, and almost finished with, her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. Christi and her husband have a son and daughter, and a much loved pooch, Alabama. Christi loves to go tent camping with her family.

Sam Neely

Preschool Lead Teacher

Sam started working for our Center in January of 2019 as our lead Preschool Teacher.  Sam has a CDA certificate.  Sam and her class love using Zoo-Phonics to learn the names and sounds of the letters in the alphabet.  Sam is a fur momma to Minnie, a miniature pincher and Gypsy (aka Shugs) a French Bulldog and is the biggest animal lover you will ever meet!

Meghan Parker

Preschool Assistant Teacher

Meghan has been the preschool assistant teacher just under 3 years.  She recently achieved her CDA certification.  Meghan is the mom of a  1 1/2 year old who will be in our toddler class this fall!

Adult Program 

Amanda French

Adult Co-Lead Teacher

Amanda has been with the Center for Possibilities for almost 11 years. She started in the children's department and transferred to the adult department. Amanda and her husband have 2 high school children, and recently adopted a dog, Oliver.

Natalie Sabody-Parker

Adult Co-Lead Teacher
Natalie will be celebrating her 7th anniversary at the Center for Possibilities this April. She always comes up with the best craft projects for our adults! Natalie, and her partner, have 2 High School aged sons.  Natalie is also an artist (you can find her at @NatalieMParkers on Facebook).

Alex Ford

Adult Assistant Teacher

Alex is the newest addition to our team.  After completing her internship in our preschool department during the Fall of 2020, she joined our adult staff in February 2021 when an opening came available.  Alex graduated from Purdue in December 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development.  We were all so glad to have her permanently join our team.
