​Toddler Program (Ages 2-3)
​

Curriculum – We use a professionally developed toddler curriculum system that engages the whole child through interactive experiences and hands-on learning. The use of free-play time and learning centers offers children an opportunity to creatively interpret, experiment, and use their new knowledge. Using monthly themes, children are invited to immerse themselves emotionally, cognitively and physically into the process of learning.


Toddler Classroom – Our smaller classroom, designed for children age 2-3 with mild to severe developmental disabilities or delays, and two peer models without delays. The focuses is on the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of each student. Play is the main component of the day! Our Toddler class maintains a 2 staff to 6-7 students ratio.

Personal Care – Our mature and dedicated staff provide all personal care and assistance. Students do not need to be independent in physical skills such as sitting up or walking or in self help skills such as toileting or feeding. Criminal background checks are completed on all staff along with ongoing training and supervision to ensure the safety of all children enrolled in our program.

 

Hours – Monday—Friday 8:30am-1:30pm, We also have part-time hours available.

 

Cost – $50.00 per week tuition fee includes 5 hours of toddler preschool services, supplies, therapy and hot lunch and snack.

Preschool Program (Ages 3-6)

Curriculum – We use professionally developed preschool curriculum system that engages the whole child through interactive experiences and hands-on learning. The use of free-play time and learning centers offers children an opportunity to creatively interpret, experiment, and use their new knowledge. Our students build foundational skills in early literacy, math, music, art, social studies and science.Using monthly themes, children are invited to immerse themselves emotionally, cognitively and physically into the process of learning.

 

Preschool Classroom – This classroom is designed for children ages 3-6 with mild to severe developmental disabilities, and delays including two peer models without delays with a focus on the development of self help, fine and gross motor, social and cognitive/learning skills while teaching each student to learn how to play, share, take turns and explore their environment. We maintain a 2 staff to 10-12 students ratio in order to best meet the education and care needs of our students.

Personal Care – Our mature and dedicated staff provide all personal care and assistance. Students do not need to be independent in physical skills such as sitting up or walking or in self help skills such as toileting or feeding. Criminal background checks are completed on all staff along with ongoing training and supervision to ensure the safety of all children enrolled in our program.

Therapy Program – We provide individual Speech and Occupational Therapies and classroom carry-over for each student enrolled full-time and over the age of 3. The Therapy Program is a comprehensive therapy program with a primary focus on each child developing skills to be as independent as possible.

​

Hours – Monday—Friday, 8:30am-1:30 pm

Cost – $50.00 per week tuition fee includes 5 hours of preschool services, hot lunch and snack and Therapy Program as deemed necessary by the student’s physician and our Therapy Team evaluations.

Adult Program
​

Center for Possibilities offers an Adult Program for adults aged 18 and older with developmental disabilities. We provide a full day, full year program with a strong focuses on developing self-care skills and providing learning opportunities.

 

I Can Still Learn Program – Staff and trained volunteers work one-on-one with students as they review math, spelling, reading, and writing at their own pace and in their own learning style.

​

Taking Care of Me Program – Our students learn how to take care of themselves through the development of self-help skills. Students learn how to cook,  do laundry, and more. They also learn basic hygiene skills and safety rules. Staff provide all the personal care for students who need assistance.

​

I Am Important Too Program – Our students participate in social skills groups and learn important skills such as conflict resolution, boundaries and problem solving. Students set goals each year that contribute to the ongoing development of their self-esteem.

 

Let’s Move Program – The Let’s Move program reinforces the importance of physical activity in our lives in order to stay strong and healthy. Students enjoy daily exercise, dancing, yoga, sports and movement.

Cost – $50.00 per week tuition fee includes 5 hours of services, hot lunch and personal care if needed. Students do not need a state waiver to participate.
