Adult Learning Program

Center for Possibilities offers an Adult Learning Program for adult 22 and older with developmental disabilities.  We provide a full day, full year program with strong focuses on the developing self-care skills and providing learning opportunities. 

I Can Still Learn Program- Staff and trained volunteers work one-on-one with students as they learn math, spelling, reading, spelling and writing at their own pace and learning style. 

Taking Care of Me Program-  Our students learn how to take care of themselves through the development of self-help skills.  Students learn how to make a bed, cook, vacuum, dust and do laundry.  They also learn basic hygiene skills and safety rules. Staff provide all personal care for students who need assistance.

I Am Important Too Program-  Our students participate in social skills groups and learn important skills such as conflict resolution, boundaries and problem solving.  Students set goals each year that contribute to the ongoing development of their self-esteem.

Let’s Move Program-  The Let’s Move program reinforce the importance of physical activity in our lives in order to stay strong and health.  Student enjoy daily exercise, dancing, yoga, sports and movement. 

Healthy Café Program-   Our inhouse Chef provides a delicious and nutritious hot lunch.  The Healthy Café Program is designed to give students energy and nutrients need to learn, be active and lead a healthy lifestyle. 

Cost- $5.00 per day tuition fee includes 5 hours of services, hot lunch and personal care if needed. Students do no need a state waiver to participate.
