3-6 year old Preschool and Childcare Program

We are a state licensed child care center, a Paths to Quality Provider and a Lake Area United Way Agency. We provide a full day, full year developmental Preschool & Childcare Program along with therapy, counseling and nutrition programs for children ages 3-6 with mild to severe developmental disabilities and delays. Children with an active IFSP (First Steps) or IEP (Special Education) are automatically eligible for our programs.

Mother Goose Time Curriculum- We use a professionally developed preschool curriculum system that engages the whole child through interactive experiences and hands-on learning. The use of free-play time and learning centers offers children an opportunity to creatively interpret, experiment, and use their new knowledge. Our students build foundational skills in early literacy, math, music, art, social studies and science. Using monthly themes, children are invited to immerse themselves emotionally, cognitively and physically into the process of learning.

Preschool Classroom-This classroom is designed for children ages 3-6 with mild to severe developmental disabilities and delays with a focus on the development of self help, fine and gross motor, social and cognitive/learning skills while teaching each student to learn how to play, share, take turns and explore their environment. We maintain a 3 staff to 10-12 students ratio in order to best meet the education and care needs of our students.

Personal Care- Our mature and dedicated staff provide all personal care and assistance. Students do not need to be independent in physical skills such as sitting up or walking or in self help skills such as toileting or feeding. Criminal background checks are completed on all staff along with ongoing training and supervision to ensure the safety of all children enrolled in our program.

Growing Strong Therapy Program- We provide individual Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapies and classroom carry-over for each student enrolled full-time and over the age of 3. The Growing Strong Therapy Program is an aggressive therapy program with a primary focus on each child developing skills to be as independent as possible.

Healthy Café Program- We provide a delicious and nutritious hot lunch and AM snack for students enrolled in the Center. The Healthy Café Program is designed to give students energy and nutrients needed to grow strong and remain healthy. All meals adhere to State Guidelines and are prepared by our in-house Chef.

Hours- Monday- Friday 8:30am-1:45pm

Cost- $5.00 per day tuition fee includes 5 hours of preschool/child care services, hot lunch and snack and Therapy Program as deemed necessary by the student’s physician and our Therapy Team evaluations. Scholarships are available based on documented family income.
